Description

Brass Bulkhead Coupling with a straight body for routing air brake and pneumatic lines through a chassis panel, frame or bulkhead on commercial vehicles. Pull-out force is 1,500 N or more, so the coupling and tube stay seated on chassis, axle and body runs where vibration and line load work fittings loose, and the straight shape keeps the run in line and free of side load through the panel.

The coupling is supplied under part numbers 931 50 022 and 901 15 022, covering the two series used on bus, truck, trailer and semi-trailer air systems. Temperature performance is verified to ISO 16750-4, the climatic load standard for vehicle components, so it can be specified into fleet retrofit and OEM programs without extra validation work, and the brass body is inspected for dimension, thread and sealing face before packing.

The brass body resists condensation, road salt and oil mist and keeps its strength and thread accuracy from cold start to hot engine bay conditions. Push-in ends seat PA11, PA12 and PU air brake tube by hand, the fitting can be released and refitted during maintenance, and the product is packed neutral or with custom marking for distributor and OEM supply.
